CALD Service Providers Network S.A.
We all understand that everyone is busy, and we all know the challenges of keeping up with the many emails we receive. We understand the challenge that it is to make sure that you have read the email, opened the relevant items and information, and read through the accompanying, documentation and attachments, to keep ourselves informed in this fast-moving sector.
It is especially important that we stay up to date with communications, bulletins, website updates, new aged care reform requirements, and new information impacting the sector within which we provide aged care services, that are from the Department of Health and Aged Care, the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, and the Government.
Our new initiative is aimed at providing targeted information; an overview of what it relates to, direct links/attachments and /or more details. We will also send you occasionally, a short survey regarding current Aged Care Reform topics, requirements, initiatives, and consultations. The surveys will seek feedback from you as to what support you need.
As a Service Provider, what are your concerns moving forward? What other supports do you need to help prepare your organisation and your workforce and consolidate systems to build your capacity to embed. the changes moving forward. And how can MAC help you and how can the Department of Health and Aged Care help you?
We are very much looking forward to continuing our work together and we are genuinely interested in your feedback regarding this new support service.
This new support service is, especially for, CALD Service Providers, particularly those that may have small numbers of staff, and volunteers, a few services, and supporting many older persons of CALD backgrounds to support them to continue to live as independently as possible and staying connected to their communities.
