Mobile Library Service
The MAC Mobile Library started as a pilot service designed to support aged care workers in their efforts to provide culturally appropriate care to their clients. We understand that every client is unique, with their own cultural background, traditions, and needs. That’s why we offer a range of resources that can help care workers better understand and connect with their clients on a deeper level.
The MAC Mobile Library brings these resources directly to the care facility through on-site visits. During these visits, our team will work with you to assess the needs of your facility and provide information and resources that are tailored to your specific needs. Whether you’re looking for books, training materials, DVDs, music, activities, or communication aids, we’ve got you covered.
To schedule a visit from the MAC Mobile Library, simply call the MAC office at 08 8241 9900. We’re here to help you provide the best possible care to your clients, and we hope that our service will be a valuable resource for you.

Cultural Costumes
Cultural costumes are more than just clothing – they are living expressions of history, identity, and pride. Each stitch, colour, and pattern tells a story passed down through generations, reflecting the values, artistry, and spirit of a community.
Wearing traditional attire connects people to their roots, honouring ancestors while keeping traditions alive in the modern world. Whether it’s the vibrant embroidery of a festival outfit, the graceful folds of ceremonial garments, or the symbolic accessories that complete the look, cultural costumes remind us of the beauty found in diversity and the shared joy of celebration.
They are not just costumes – they are heritage in motion.
