Embedding Diversity and Inclusion

The session offers information and strategies for including and addressing CALD diversity in aged care consumer services, and organisational strategies:

• Understand CALD concepts and meanings of culturally appropriate services
• Develop processes and better practice procedures for culturally appropriate care delivery
• Apply policies, procedures and better practice CALD models of culturally appropriate care
• Improve capacity to deliver culturally appropriate care targeting CALD specific needs, expectations and understandings of aged care
• Improved access to information and resources on CQ, cultural competency, culturally appropriate care and CALD perspectives
• Develop knowledge, skills, competencies and access resources
