Strengthened Quality Standards Framework Analysis

The Aged Care Quality Standards are changing.

The Strengthened Quality Standards will come into effective on 1 July 2024.

The Commission has developed a framework to understand and describe the Strengthened Standards.

We will work through the Strengthened Standards Framework Analysis:

• Overview the Strengthened Standards
• Compare the changes from the current 8 Quality Standards and 7 Strengthened Quality Standards
• Consider the changes in the Standards requirements
• Compare and identify existing requirements and changed actions
• Overview organisational obligations, actions, and compliance

We will work through the critical elements of the strengthened standards, unpacking the changes to the strengthened Standards and how to embed them into our organisational and service delivery requirements. And how to effectively include and refine our organisational processes, systems, and workforce understanding and compliance.
