Due to repeated requests, the MAC Team, Vicki and Gamal, have once again travelled to the Yorke Peninsula to deliver cultural training.

The Multicultural Aged Care (MAC) Team in Regional SA – DAY 2
Today our wonderful team delivered a dual PICAC Cultural Awareness Training (CAT) and CHSP Sector Support Development Training. Thank you to Denise Campbell and team at the Yorke & Mid North Region Collaborative.
Following this training session Vicki facilitated workforce consultations and delivered an information session on the Aged Care Reforms, specifically focusing on SIRS and its compliance.

Another successful interactive Cultural Awareness Training (CAT) session delivered today at Star of the Sea in Wallaroo. Thank you to Alyssa Matheson and team for a great day!
Vicki and Gamal have been requested to come back and deliver Cultural Training and Armchair Travel for both residential and community care in the future!

The Multicultural Aged Care (MAC) Team in Regional SA 2023 – Day 4
Yesterday was the last day of training for the MAC team, delivering another Cultural Awareness Training (CAT) session which ended with a fantastic response from the Barrunga Village team with laughter resonating from their training room. It was accompanied by stories, role playing and an abundance of shared experiences by all.
Thank you Monica Merlano and team for trusting MAC with delivering this session.
The team has once again made a significant impact in Regional SA, leaving a distinct and noteworthy presence. As a result, numerous requests have been made to promptly revisit the region, enabling our staff to further engage in Cultural Training and avail themselves of enhanced opportunities. We eagerly anticipate the continuation of our productive partnership with Regional Aged Care Service Providers and eagerly await our forthcoming return to Regional SA.
