Our exceptional MAC Team is once again embarking on a journey, this time venturing from Adelaide, South Australia to Melbourne, Victoria for the highly anticipated Aged & Community Care Providers Association (ACCPA) Melbourne State Conference.
As we kick off Day 1 of this conference, our esteemed colleagues, Vicki Kanakaris and Vandana, are partaking in key conversations focused on re-defining excellence in aged care service delivery and the use of AI in future service delivery models!

The Multicultural Aged Care (MAC) Team in Melbourne 2023 – Day 2
Day two of the Aged & Community Care Providers Association (ACCPA) has commenced!
The first speaker of the day is Tom Symondson, Chief Executive Officer of ACCPA.
The second speaker of the day is Michael Lye. Mr. Lye holds the position of Deputy Secretary, Ageing & Aged Care, within the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care. He provided a Government Reform Update to the attendees.
The third speaker of today’s conference is Janet Anderson. Ms. Anderson serves as the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commissioner, and she provided an update on the Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission.

Today, Vicki and Vandana had a great time engaging in discussions regarding, resources in Languages Other Than English (LOTE), Translation and Interpreting Services (TIS), and provider feedback, among various other topics.
Day three of the Aged & Community Care Providers Association (ACCPA):
One of the speakers of today’s conference is Victor Harcourt. Mr. Harcourt is a Partner at Russel Kennedy, and he provided updates and information about meeting the legal requirements of the reform agenda.
