New National CALD Aged Care Strategy Launched

During December, MAC Chair Anna Howard, attended the launch of the National Ageing and Aged Care Strategy for People from CALD Backgrounds at SydWest Multicultural Services Inc. in Blacktown, NSW. This exciting development was part of the Living Longer Living Better Aged Care Reform. The strategy will help inform the way the Government responds to the needs of older people from CALD backgrounds and better support the aged care sector to deliver care that is sensitive and appropriate.

Along with other PICAC Partners and other stakeholders, MAC’s CEO, Rosa Colanero sat on the steering committee which helped develop the new CALD Aged Care Strategy.
