My ethnic origin is Latvian. I was born in Adelaide, South Australia. My education qualifications are in Management/Industrial Relations (SA Institute of Technology – UniSA). My corporate experience has been in Banking/Finance commencing as a graduate employee and then working in HR (corporate and consulting) in Australia and Latvia. Since 2007, I have been involved in aged care, primarily caring full-time for both of my parents until they passed away. From 2016, as President of The Latvian Assoc. in SA, I have been involved in management and overseeing the CHSP grant, thus gaining extensive experience in CALD issues with aged care, both from a client and provider perspective.
