George is a passionate and active executive committee member of the Pan Macedonian Federation of SA and has been working to promote the educational, cultural, social, patriotic and religious interests of persons living in Australia who are of Greek heritage and who were born or are descendants of persons born in the region of Macedonia, Greece. George is also a member of the OPAN’s National Older Person’s Reference Group and actively advocates for older people from CALD background. A past chair at Multicultural Aged Care Board, George has a strong knowledge of governance, policies and regulatory requirements for boards of management. Since retiring as a high school maths and science teacher George is busy supporting Greek seniors advocating for CALD
